MAGICK BOX ~ BOOK SIGNING

Glastonbury was in a great mood on Saturday May 10.  The crowds were warm and friendly and all wanting to get acquainted with Stanton Drew.  A bonus was Jewel in the Lotus – Shama’s first CD playing constantly on the sound system.  Many, many thanks to everybody for making the signing session such a success.  Gordon hopes all the signings planned are as much fun as that!

 BOOK LAUNCH

The Wooden Books extravaganza went with a bang - Mostly of champagne corks.  The generosity of publisher John Martineau knew no bounds and Pringles flowed as endlessly as the wine.  All the luminaries of the Glastonbury esoteric literary scene put in a sparkling appearance. Copies of the book were signed at an alarming rate.

We even had a genuine New Age drunk carted away by the fuzz.  All human life was there!

The U.S Tour, centred entirely on Portland Oregon this Spring. The reasons for this will appear obvious later on the News page. A very hectic schedule featuring Talks, Readings and Workshops left Gordon somewhat shell-shocked but fulfilled.  Stunning Pix on the Tour 2008 page.

Gordon was interviewed by Trevor and Lizzie of Glastonbury Radio this weekend, mainly about the new Stanton Drew book (See Stanton Drew New Book Page) published on May 1. In a very relaxed session that took place in the George and Pilgrim hostelry, some fascinating insights came out about the site.

Other topics discussed involved more personal revelations concerning a forthcoming hand fasting at Brides Mound on May 24. Gordon and his beloved Shama from Portland, Oregon will be ritually united on that date.

Shama and Gordon also feature in a concert at the Skekinashram, Dod Lane, Glastonbury on May 20 at 7.30 p.m.  More details of this will be posted on the site as soon as they are finalised. 

The Glastonbury Radio broadcast goes out in the next week or so on The Witching Hour.

The much heralded rock gig in Portland Oregon on March 28 is reported on the Moozik page.  The debut of the Kozmik Boogie Band coincided with Gordon’s birthday too…

The Glastonbury Megalithomania Conference features a tour of Stanton Drew on May 16.  Gordon partnered Sig Lonegren on one of these outings and this year he may be hooked up with either Tom Graves or Hamish Miller.http://www.megalithomania.co.uk/

Best news is my new webmaster and friend Dave is now running the site.

Lots of new features and pages will be appearing and updates will be real regular rather than random. 

Fallout from the Fall Tour was great contacts in Portland, Oregon.  Looks like that is where the action is in the Pacific North West.  Living Light is the venue I am going to centre around on the Spring Tour 2008. Talks workshops, readings will take place in Portland March- April.  Check out the Tour Page for updates. 

Also a lot will be happening on the music scene .  The most groovy garage band of all time will be gigging around Portland in early April.  Details of all dates will be on the new Moozik Page on the site soon.

As I have studied and read the Tarot for a long time I thought it was time we had a page all about that too.  Should be a movie of an actual reading there soon!  And you can book readings on line too.

Magick is something I’ve been writing about for most of 2007, so that will get its own page too.  Those of you who want to find out about mya nagle on this important stuff - now’s the time to check it out!

My Space was the only way I could get to you all when the site seemed to disappear into the aether.  Those of you who followed that  Link will know about the Film by Sean Martin .  That is in the can and should be screened in 2008. A short version and a ‘director’s cut’ are planned.  Also I want Sean to put the goofs and outtakes on You Tube.

2008 plans have got to feature a Spring and Fall tour of the good old U.S.A. The usual stuff like Tarot Workshops at the Folk House, Bristol, the Bill Harrison three day psychic event in July are going to happen.  Lots of talks and workshops too.

The new book on the Tarot TAROT UNVEILED will be out shortly.  It ties in with the Tarot Workshops and talks on the Tarot that Gordon will soon be launching.  And there will be some new departures too…like those long-awaited novels and stuff.
